COLLEGE STATION, Texas, Nov. 6 (UPI) -- Jason White threw for 292 yards and five touchdown passes Saturday as the second-ranked Oklahoma Sooners poste a 42-35 victory over No. 22 Texas A&M.

The tie-breaking score came with 6:43 left when White threw a 39-yard pass to Mark Bradley.

White was 19 of 35 for the unbeaten Sooners (9-0, 6-0 Big 12). Freshman Adrian Peterson ran for 101 yards and a touchdown while posting his ninth straight 100-yard performance.

Reggie McNeal passed for 213 yards and two touchdowns and scored once himself for the Aggies (6-3, 4-2). The junior quarterback had to leave the game with an undisclosed injury late in the third quarter.

Texas A&M had a chance to tie the game after getting the ball with just a minute remaining. Backup quarterback Ty Branyon marched the Aggies as far as the Oklahoma 38, but two last-second passes into the end zone failed.
