LEXINGTON, Ky., Nov. 6 (UPI) -- Georgia's David Greene became the winningest quarterback in Division 1A history Saturday as the fifth-ranked Bulldogs buried SEC foe Kentucky 62-17.

Greene's 40th win surpassed Peyton Manning, who had set the previous record at Tennessee.

The Bulldogs ran up 589 yards total offense and improved to 8-1, 6-1 SEC.

Thomas Brown rushed for three touchdowns and 131 yards on 22 carries and Greene was 14-of-19 passing for 259 yards and one touchdown for Georgia. D.J. Shockley, in a reserve role, threw for two scores for the Bulldogs.

The winless Wildcats fell to 1-8, 0-6 SEC with their seventh straight loss.
