ASHBURN, Va., Nov. 2 (UPI) -- The Washington Redskins have declared that kick returner Chad Morton and defensive back Andre Lott are done for the season.

Both were hurt in Sunday's 28-14 loss to Green Bay and the team said on its Web site that both need surgery and neither will play again in 2004.

Lott suffered a torn pectoral (chest) muscle and Morton a torn right knee ligament. Both will be placed on the injured reserve list.

"It's a shame, because both of those guys worked extremely hard this year," said Coach Joe Gibbs, who also said veteran all-pro linebacker LaVar Arrington, who aggravated his surgically-repaired right knee injury in practice last week, could miss another month.
