ANN ARBOR, Mich., Oct. 30 (UPI) -- Braylon Edwards caught a 24-yard touchdown pass in the third overtime Saturday as No. 11 Michigan posted a 45-37 victory over Michigan State.
Edwards caught 11 passes for 189 yards and three touchdowns for the Wolverines (8-1, 6-0 Big Ten), who rallied from a 27-10 fourth-quarter deficit for their seventh straight win.
Michigan's Michael Hart rushed for 224 yards. Hart had his third straight 200-yard game to become the first true freshman in school history to run for 1,000 yards.
DeAndra Cobb ran for 205 yards and two touchdowns for the Spartans (4-4, 3-2).
Michigan State quarterback Drew Stanton completed 10-of-13 passes for 95 yards and a touchdown and ran for 80 more yards and a TD before leaving late in the first half with a shoulder injury.
Michigan's Chad Henne completed 24-of-35 passes for 273 yards and four TDs.
