Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

KIRKLAND, Wash., Oct. 25 (UPI) -- Seattle Seahawks linebacker Isaiah Kacyvenski has a sprained ankle and may miss next Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers.
Kacyvenski, who sprained his ankle in last Sunday's loss to the Arizona Cardinals, is awaiting the results of an MRI taken Monday.
Seattle Coach Mike Holmgren said the fifth-year veteran could miss more than the Carolina game.
"As far as a time frame, I can't give you one, but it's pretty sore," Holmgren said. "If it's the high ankle, typically they last longer."
