NFL: New England 13, NY Jets 7

FOXBORO, Mass., Oct. 24 (UPI) -- Tom Brady completed 20-of-29 passes for 230 yards and a touchdown Sunday to lead the New England Patriots to a 13-7 win over the New York Jets.

It was the 21st straight win for the Patriots and the first loss this season for the Jets.

Corey Dillon ran for 115 yards for the Patriots, who set a new NFL record with their 18th consecutive regular season victory.

This is the first time New England has started 6-0 in franchise history.

Adam Vinatieri added a pair of field goals for New England.

Chad Pennington, who completed 19 of 30 passes for 162 yards, got New York's lone score with a one-yard run.

Curtis Martin rushed for 70 yards, passing Jim Brown (12,312) for seventh on the NFL's all-time rushing list with 12,352 yards.
