
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark., Oct. 23 (UPI) -- David Greene hit on 22 of 29 passes for 374 yards and two touchdowns Saturday as the sixth-ranked Georgia posted a 20-14 win over Arkansas.
Thomas Brown added 110 yards on 23 carries for the Bulldogs (6-1, 4-1 SEC).
Arkansas (3-4, 1-3) led midway through the first quarter, as Matt Jones hit Marcus Monk on a 17-yard scoring pass.
Georgia got its first lead with just over 4 1/2 minutes left in the first half, as Greene connected with Fred Gibson on a five-yard touchdown toss to put the Bulldogs up 10-7.
Arkansas' Jeb Huckeba sacked Greene at the Georgia 19-yard line and forced a fumble, which Marcus Harrison recovered and scored with a minute and a half left in the first half. That gave Arkansas a 14-10 lead.
Gibson got 167 yards on six catches. Reggie Brown caught seven of Greene's passes for 105 yards.
