BIRMINGHAM, Ala., Oct. 15 (UPI) -- Darrell Hackney threw for 337 yards and five touchdowns Friday night to carry Alabama-Birmingham past TCU, 41-25.

All five of Hackney's touchdown passes came in the opening half.

Roddy White caught one of the touchdown passes and had 130 yards in four receptions. Alabama-Birmingham improved to 5-1 for the season and to 3-0 in Conference USA.

The Blazers have won four in a row since losing to Florida State.

TCU, which owned an early 14-7 lead, fell to 3-3 and 1-2. The Horned Frogs have lost three of their last four.
