
MIAMI, Oct. 3 (UPI) -- Donnie Abraham returned an interception 66 yards for a touchdown Sunday to spark the New York Jets to a 17-9 victory over the Miami Dolphins.
Curtis Martin ran for 114 yards and a score on 23 carries for the Jets, who improved to 3-0 for the first time since the 2000 season. John Abraham added a pair of sacks, a forced fumble and a recovery in the win.
Jay Fiedler, back at quarterback for Miami after getting benched in the season opener, threw two interceptions and also fumbled the ball away twice. He completed 17-of 32 passes for 201 yards.
Leonard Henry rushed 18 times for 85 yards in his first NFL start as the Dolphins fell to 0-4 for the first time since 1966.
Olindo Mare accounted for all of Miami's scoring with three field goals.
