NFL: New Orleans 28, St. Louis 25 (OT)

ST. LOUIS, Sept. 26 (UPI) -- A 31-yard field goal by John Carney in overtime Sunday gave the New Orleans Saints a 28-25 win over St. Louis.

Carney kicked five field goals in the game, including a 38-yarder to tie the score with three seconds left in regulation.

Two of Carney's kicks were from beyond 50 yards.

March Bulger threw for 358 yards and a touchdown for the Rams. Isaac Bruce caught eight passes for 134 yards.

New Orleans is 2-1. St. Louis is 1-2.
