SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 25 (UPI) -- Pedro Feliz hit a grand slam homer in the eighth Saturday to power the San Francisco Giants to a 9-5 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Feliz had four hits and Barry Bonds drew five walks for the Giants, who are now only 1 1/2 games behind the Dodgers in the NL West.

Los Angeles has lost eight of their its last 13 games while San Francisco has won 14 of its last 19.
San Francisco trails the Chicago Cubs by only a half-game in the NL wild card race.
Alex Cora had a two-run homer for the Dodgers.
The Dodgers were without one of their better players as Shawn Green decided to skip the game to honor Yom Kippur.
