MILWAUKEE, Sept. 25 (UPI) -- Milwaukee's Wes Obermueller tossed a six-hitter and shut out the Houston Astros 8-0 Saturday.

Obermueller (6-8) struck out three and walked one and Russell Branyan led the offense with a home run and three runs batted in.

Keith Ginter also homered for the Brewers.

Pete Munro (4-7) was the losing pitcher, giving up three runs in four innings.
