CLEVELAND, Sept. 23 (UPI) -- Josh Bard homered and equaled a career best with three RBI Thursday night as Cleveland fought off Minnesota, 9-7.
Coco Crisp went three for four with two RBI and Grady Sizemore added a two-run homer, giving the Indians their third straight victory.

Cliff Lee (12-8) picked up the victory despite giving up five runs in 5 2/3.
Cleveland Manager Eric Wedge was kicked out of the game by first base umpire Tim Timmons in the eighth for arguing a call.
