CHICAGO, Sept. 23 (UPI) -- Joe Crede hit a three-run homer in the ninth inning Thursday to rally the Chicago White Sox to a 7-6 victory over Kansas City.

It was the second homer of the night for Crede and gave the White Sox their fifth win in six games. Chicago also came up with home runs from Ross Gload and Aaron Rowand.

Chicago trailed by two going into the bottom of the ninth with Jeremy Affeldt (3-4) pitching. Juan Uribe drew a leadoff walk and Joe Borchard singled.

Jaime Burke tried to sacrifice, but Uribe was thrown out at third. Credie then came on to hit his 19th homer of the year.
