Major League Baseball suspends Francisco

NEW YORK, Sept. 17 (UPI) -- Texas relief pitcher Frank Francisco was suspended for the rest of the season Friday by Major League Baseball.

As Francisco and his teammates were being taunted by Oakland fans last Monday night, he picked up a chair in the bull pen and threw it into the stands. Two fans were hit in the head.
