MLB: Kansas City 6, Cleveland 4

CLEVELAND, Sept. 17 (UPI) -- David DeJesus went three for four and drove in three runs Friday night, leading Kansas City to a 6-4 win over Cleveland.

Ken Harvey scored twice and Abraham Nunez produced an inside-the-park homer for the Royals.

Starter Mike Wood allowed three runs in the first, but held on to record his first win in six appearances. He gave up five hits over six innings.

Jeremy Affeldt worked the ninth for his 11th save.

Casey Blake drove in all of Cleveland's runs, but he committed an error that helped Kansas City to a three-run second.
