LOS ANGELES, Sept. 15 (UPI) -- The Los Angeles Dodgers got home runs from Jayson Werth and Steve Finley Tuesday in a 6-3 victory over San Diego.
The win kept the first-place Dodgers 4 1/2 games ahead in San Francisco in the National League West.

Jose Lima (13-5) was the winning pitcher, giving up nine hits and three runs in 6 2/3 innings. Eric Gagne notched his 41st save.
Ryan Klesko and Jay Payton homered for the Padres, who fell three games behind San Francisco in the NL wild card race.
