Padraig Harrington wins German Masters

COLOGNE, Germany, Sept. 12 (UPI) -- Ireland's Padraig Harrington won the German Masters by three strokes Sunday.

Harrington shot a final-found 70 for a total of 13-under-par 275.

The victory was his ninth on the European Tour.

Nick O'Hern was second at 278 and Graeme McDowell and Raphael Jacquelin tied for third at 279.

"It's nice to come back and show some form," said Harrington, who led after the first-round but then fell back. "I was surprised it turned around so quickly, but I'm very happy about it."
