MANHATTAN, Kan., Sept. 5 (UPI) -- Darren Sproles
ran for 221 yards to lead 12th-ranked Kansas State over Western Kentucky 27-13 Saturday.
Sproles also scored a touchdown and Dylan Meier ran for a score and passed for 183 yards for the Wildcats.
Kansas State led 10-6 at the half and ran up a 20-6 advantage on Sproles' touchdown and a 19-yard field goal by Joe Rheem in the third quarter.
