MLB: Texas 8, Boston 6

BOSTON, Sept. 4 (UPI) -- Michael Young and Rod Barajas combined to drive in five runs Saturday, leading Texas over Boston 8-6, ending a 10-game Red Sox win streak.

Young hit a three-run homer in the seventh inning and Barajas belted a two-run shot in the fourth.

Mark Bellhorn hit a grand slam for the Red Sox.

Rookie right-hander Chris Young (1-1) got his first major league victory, allowing a run and two hits in 5 2/3 innings.

Francisco Cordero pitched a scoreless ninth for his 42nd save.
