ATHENS, Greece, Aug. 21 (UPI) -- Saturday's highlights at the Olympics:

-- America's NBA stars suffered their second loss, giving up a 10-point lead before falling to Lithuania, 94-90. But Team USA is almost certain to make the quarterfinals.

-- Swimmer Michael Phelps finished his Olympics with eight medals, the most in any Games in any sport. He did not swim on the winning American relay team Saturday, but he did swim in the semifinals, earning him a medal. He finished with six golds and eight overall.

-- For the first time since 1976, an American was beaten in the women's 100-meter dash. Yuliya Nesterenko of Belarus defeated American Lauryn Williams by .03 of a second.

-- International gymnastic officials admitted a scoring error cost South Korean Yang Tae Young the all-around title. But the results will stand, leaving American Paul Hamm the winner.

-- Cuba, which has never missed the baseball semifinals, claimed a spot in the Final Four.

-- Thirty-five countries won medals Saturday in 32 events. Britain had one of its best Olympic days ever with four golds and nine medals overall. The United States still leads the medal table with 19 gold and 47 total.
