CHICAGO, Aug. 19 (UPI) -- Chicago White Sox Ozzie Guillen" class="tpstyle">Manager Ozzie Guillen, fresh off a two-game suspension, has been suspended for two more games for calling an umpire a liar.

Both suspensions grew from Guillen's comments about umpire Hunter Wendelstedt in connection with an Aug. 9 game with Cleveland.

His latest suspension stemmed from comments he made to reporters. He also was fined $2,000.

"I don't blame them to suspend me or whatever it is," said Guillen, "but the guy lied. Whatever his name is, Hunter or whatever. He lied. He lied to Major League Baseball, he lied to Mr. (Bob) Watson, he lied to Mr. Sandy Alderson.

"You are not a real man when you lie, especially when you write it down."

Guillen began serving his latest suspension Thursday night against Detroit. He will be eligible to return Saturday, when the White Sox host Boston.
