The European team will be finalized after the BMW International Open in Germany in two weeks.

"I don't remember being this flattered in my life," said Cink, 31, during a teleconference with reporters in Milwaukee.

"There were a lot of deserving players, but only two spots," Sutton said.

Haas, 50, and Cink join Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Davis Love III, Jim Furyk, Kenny Perry, David Toms, Chad Campbell, Fred Funk, Chris DiMarco and Chris Riley.

Cink has played in one Ryder Cup, going 1-2-0 in 2002. Haas has played in two and is 3-4-1 overall.
