NFL: Washington 20, Denver 17

CANTON, Ohio, Aug. 10 (UPI) -- A last-second 39-yard field goal by Ola Kimrin Monday gave the Washington Redskins a 20-17 win over the Denver Broncos in the annual Hall of Fame game at Canton, Ohio.

Sean Taylor had two interceptions for the Redskins, running one back for a touchdown.

Tim Hasselback tossed a 33-yard touchdown pass for Washington and Mark Brunell completed four of eight passes in his debut with the Redskins.

Jason Elam kicked three field goals for the Broncos.

The game marked the return to coaching of Washington's Joe Gibbs.
