HOUSTON, Aug. 6 (UPI) -- Roy Oswalt threw a five-hit shutout Friday night as Houston handed Montreal its 15th blanking of the season, 4-0.

Jeff Bagwell homered in helping the Astros snap a two-game skid. Jeff Kent went two for four with two RBI.

Oswalt (12-8) won his fourth straight start decision. It was his second shutout of the season.

Bagwell put Houston in front in the second with his 17th homer of the season.
