NEW YORK, Aug. 4 (UPI) -- The New York Knicks signed forward Trevor Ariza, their second-round pick in the NBA Draft out of UCLA.

"It hasn't hit me yet. I'm here, but I don't feel like I've really arrived," Ariza said after he was signed Tuesday.

The 6-7 Ariza performed well while playing for the Knicks' entry in July's Summer Pro League in Long Beach, Calif.

He averaged 14 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 34 minutes per contest.
