SAN DIEGO, July 31 (UPI) -- Milton Bradley homered in the fourth and the ninth and Jeff Weaver threw eight strong innings to lead Los Angeles to a 12-3 rout Friday of San Diego.
Bradley also made a stunning catch in the third to steal a two-run homer from Phil Nevin.

In the third, the Padres went 1-0 on a Mark Loretta run-scoring double.
In the fourth, the Dodgers combined for seven runs off Adam Eaton. In the ninth, Bradley hit his 13th home run as part of a three-run flurry against Rod Beck, and teammate Jose Hernandez also homered for Los Angeles.
By the ninth Los Angeles was up 12-1.
The Dodgers' win keeps them atop the National League West.
