Canas cruises, Moya upset at Umag

UMAG, Croatia, July 24 (UPI) -- Sixth-seeded Guillermo Canas took a straight-sets victory, while top-seeded Carlos Moya was upset Saturday at the Croatia Open.

Canas, winner last week in Stuttgart, beat of Guillermo Garcia-Lopez 6-2, 6-2. Canas has won his last 10 matches overall, including his title run at the Mercedes Cup last week when he upset French Open champion Gaston Gaudio in an all-Argentine final.

Fourth-seeded Filippo Volandri bounced Moya 6-3, 6-2 and will face Canas in Sunday's final. Moya beat last year to claim his third straight and fourth overall Umag title last year.

Moya, the 1998 French Open champion, was seeking his fifth overall title here and had his 18-game winning streak at this event halted.
