CLEVELAND, July 22 (UPI) -- Freddy Garcia threw seven-plus shutout innings Thursday night in leading the Chicago White Sox to a 3-0 blanking of Cleveland.

Garcia (8-8) gave up five hits and struck out nine in guiding the White Sox to their second shutout of Cleveland in as many games. Mark Buehrle threw a two-hitter against the Indians Wednesday night.

Carl Everett went two for three with two RBI.

The loss went to C.C. Sabathia (6-5), who surrendered three runs on seven hits over seven innings.

The White Sox have won four of their five games in Cleveland this year.

Chicago slugger Magglio Ordonez was held out of the game with a sore left knee and he flew home for further testing.
