KITZBUHEL, Austria, July 21 (UPI) -- The top five seeds, including No. 1 Rainer Schuettler, picked up victories in the second round Wednesday at the Generali Open Kitzbuhel.
French Open champion Gaston Gaudio and 2003 Kitzbuhel runner-up Nicolas Massu also advanced.

Schuettler defeated Andreas Seppi 3-6, 7-6 (15-13), 6-0, while the second-seeded Gaudio won over Ivo Minar 6-4, 6-1.
Massu coasted past Yuri Schukin 6-2, 6-3.
Gaudio improved to 18-2 in his last 20 matches, including his French Open title. He has reached two finals since then, but lost both of them.
