Venus, Davenport in Stanford final

STANFORD, Calif., July 18 (UPI) -- Top-seeded Venus Williams and No. 2 seed Lindsay Davenport will meet in the finals of the Bank of the West Classic in Stanford, Calif.

It will be the fourth All-American final as both Williams and Favenport seek their third title

Williams beat sixth-seeded Amy Frazier 6-3, 6-1 to advance to the final. Davenport defeated Venezuelan Maria Vento-Kabchi, the eighth seed, 6-3, 6-2.
