MLB: Los Angeles 4, Arizona 1

LOS ANGELES, July 7 (UPI) -- Home runs by Jose Hernandez and Adrian Beltre helped Los Angeles beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 4-1 Tuesday.

Arizona got a homer by Steve Finley to take a 1-0 lead in the third inning. Hernandez tied the score in the bottom half of the inning and Beltre sent the Dodgers ahead with another solo shot, his 22nd.

Jose Lima (7-3) pitched seven innings to get the win.

Darren Dreifort pitched the eighth for Los Angeles and Eric Gagne recorded his 22nd save of the season the day after his major league record streak of 84 saves came to an end.
