Foyle to stay with Warriors

OAKLAND, Calif., July 6 (UPI) -- Golden State center Adonal Foyle has reached a five-year agreement to stay with the Warriors.

"I'm really excited," Foyle told the Contra Costa (Calif.) Times Monday. "I'm looking forward to great things from the Warriors in the next five years."

ESPN reported that Foyle's agent, Lon Babby, said the contract totals $41.6 million.

Foyle, the team's longest-tenured player and a key reserve, missed 36 of the Warriors' first 37 games last season because of a left knee injury. He averaged 3.1 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 44 games.
