Crisp, who was seven for 12 with a homer and eight RBI during last week's three-game home sweep of the Reds, went three for four Friday night.

Making his first career start and eighth major league appearance, Cleveland's Kazuhito Tadano (1-0) yielded two runs, four hits and four walks. He struck out 10, becoming the first Indian to do so in two years.

Cincinnati starter Jesus Sanchez (0-1) was rocked for six runs and six hits in 4 1/3 innings in his season debut.
