KANSAS CITY, Mo., June 28 (UPI) -- The Kansas City Royals acquired infielder Jose Bautista from the Tampa Bay Devil Rays Monday.

Terms were not disclosed.

Bautista, 23, is with his third team this season. He started with Baltimore, hitting .273 in 16 games, and was claimed off waivers by the Devil Rays early this month. He played in 12 games for Tampa Bay, batting .167.
