Dodgers Beltre, Astros Oswalt co-NL Player

NEW YORK, June 28 (UPI) -- Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman Adrian Beltre and Houston Astros righthander Roy Oswalt on Monday were named National League co-Players of the Week.

Beltre tied for the league lead with three home runs while hitting .444 with 10 RBI, a .815 slugging percentage and .448 on-base percentage. His 22 total bases and 10 RBI led all NL hitters.

Oswalt went 2-0 with a 1.69 ERA, a league-best 14 strikeouts and no walks in 16 innings. He allowed only three runs and 13 hits.
