NASHVILLE, June 23 (UPI) -- Singer Vince Gill scored a hole-in-one at a Nashville golf club where, next week at his annual tournament, the same feat will earn a golfer a Lamborghini.
Gill, a popular country singer as well as an avid golfer, made the rare shot Tuesday on Hole 16 at the Golf Club of Tennessee in Kingston Springs, Tenn., said a release from Gill's publicist.
The hole-in-one was the third of Gill's golfing career.
The Par 3 hole where Gill sank his shot will be the prize hole at the Vinny Tournament, which runs next Tuesday and Wednesday, earning the lucky golfer a racy sports car for scoring a hole-in-one.
Gill, who established the annual event to benefit Tennessee Junior Golf programs, will not be eligible to win the Lamborghini, the release said.
