DENVER, June 20 (UPI) -- Jason Kreis matched the MLS record with his 88th career goal as the Dallas Burn battled to a 1-1 tie with the Colorado Rapids, Saturday night.

Kreis pulled even with Roy Lassiter for the career lead in goals when he lofted a shot past Colorado goalkeeper Joe Cannon in the 49th minute.

The milestone gave the Burn (4-4-3) a 1-0 lead. But just two minutes later, Chris Henderson scored the tying goal for the Rapids (2-3-6). It marked the second time this season the teams have battled to a 1-1 tie.
