SAN FRANCISCO, June 16 (UPI) -- Olympic gold medalist Marion Jones said Wednesday she had never used performance enhancing drugs and lashed out at the United States Anti-Doping Agency.

Jones met with USADA officials last month to discuss possible drug evidence against her. She has grown increasingly frustrated with how the agency conducts its business and said she will only cooperate if the questions and answers are made public.

"I am not going to engage in their secret kangaroo court," Jones said at a news conference. "I will answer them in a public forum that will be open for the world to see."

Jones previously gave grand jury testimony in the case involving BALCO, a California nutritional supplements lab. BALCO officials have been charged with taking part in a steroid distribution ring.

Jones, who won five medals at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, asked that USADA help in getting her sealed testimony released.

"I have truthfully answered every question asked of me in the BALCO investigation," said Jones, who added she never has failed a drug test. "Despite all the leaks and rumor mongering, USADA has yet to produce a single shred of evidence against me."
