MLB: Houston 5, Milwaukee 4

MILWAUKEE, June 13 (UPI) -- Jose Vizcaino and Jeff Kent homered and Brad Lidge pitched out of a bases-loaded jam in the seventh Sunday as Houston beat Milwaukee, 5-4.

Vizcaino hit his first home run since Sept. 9, 2003, a span of 80 at-bats, with one out in the top of the first inning.

Jason Lane and Jeff Bagwell delivered run-scoring doubles in the fourth and fifth innings, respectively, to give Houston a 3-0 lead.

Geoff Jenkins slugged a two-run homer off Astros reliever Mike Gallo in the bottom of the fifth, but Houston came back an inning later. Lane doubled with one out in sixth, took third on Orlando Palmeiro's sacrifice and scored on a forceout by Brad Ausmus to make it 4-2.

Kent padded the lead in the seventh with his 10th home run.

Milwaukee's Lyle Overbay made it close in the eighth with a two-run double off Octavio Dotel.
