MLB: Pittsburgh at Texas, ppd., rain

ARLINGTON, Texas, June 9 (UPI) -- The Texas Rangers and Pittsburgh Pirates were rained out for the second straight evening Wednesday night.

The teams will play a doubleheader on Thursday, beginning at 5:05 p.m. EDT. Thursday had originally been an off day for both teams.

Texas will start Joaquin Benoit (2-2, 5.77) while the Pirates will send Oliver Perez (3-3, 3.20) to the mound in the opener. In the nightcap, Texas' Kenny Rogers (8-2, 3.64) will face Pittsburgh's Josh Fogg (3-4, 5.98).
