BALTIMORE, June 9 (UPI) -- Miguel Tejada hit a tie-breaking, three-run homer in the seventh inning Wednesday night, lifting Baltimore to an 8-2 victory over Arizona.

Stephen Randolph (1-1) entered a 2-2 game in the bottom of the seventh and promptly walked Brian Roberts and Melvin Mora. Tejada got ahead in the count before depositing a 3-1 offering over the scoreboard in right field.

The Orioles went on to bat around in the frame. B.J. Surhoff's two-out grounder was booted by third baseman Tim Olson for an error. Brandon Villafuerte came into the game and was greeted by Luis Matos' two-run homer that made it 7-2.

Baltimore reliever John Parrish (4-2) recorded the final out of the seventh to begin a strong effort by the bullpen.
