MLB: Colorado 7, San Diego 1

SAN DIEGO, June 1 (UPI) -- Colorado ended an eight-game road losing streak with a 7-1 win over the San Diego Padres Monday night.

Jason Jennings gave up four hits and San Diego's lone run over eight innings to get the win, only the second for Colorado in 12 games. He was the winning pitcher both times.

Jeromy Burnitz hit a two-run double to put the Rockies ahead to stay in the sixth. They got two more runs in the seventh.

Adam Eaton (1-6) as the loser, allowing seven hits and four runs in 6 1/3 innings.
