MLB: Minnesota 4, Tampa Bay 2

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., May 26 (UPI) -- Jacque Jones had a two-run double in the fifth inning Wednesday night to help Minnesota fight off Tampa Bay, 4-2.

Four Minnesota relievers combined for four scoreless innings as the Twins snapped the Devil Rays' five-game winning streak.

The Devil Rays were attempting to tie a club record for consecutive wins. Instead, they lost to the Twins for the 12th time in the last 13 meetings.

Seth Greisinger (2-3) allowed two runs and six hits in five innings to become just the second Minnesota starter to post a win in the last 10 games.

Minnesota's bullpen posted an ERA of 7.65 in its last five games, but Terry Mulholland, Juan Rincon and J.C. Romero kept the Devil Rays at bay before Joe Nathan pitched the ninth for his 14th save.

Tampa Bay starter Rob Bell (0-2) walked the first two batters in the fifth, but was able to get a force at third base on a bunt by Cristian Guzman. Jones doubled to bring home two runs and give Minnesota a 3-2 lead.
