ANAHEIM, Calif., May 21 (UPI) -- Home runs by Derek Jeter and Hideki Matsui helped the New York Yankees beat the Anaheim Angels 6-2 Thusday night.
Jeter, who had been hitless in 17 at-bats, singled and scored in the first inning and hit his third homer in the third. Matsui belted a two-run shot in the fourth.

Mike Mussina (5-4) won his fourth straight game, allowing a run and seven hnits in 7 2/3 innings. Seventy-nine of Mussina's 118 pitches were strikes.
Anaheim 's Bartolo Colon (4-3) was the loser, giving up nine hits and all six Yankee runs in five innings.
