MLB: Baltimore 10, Cleveland 7

BALTIMORE, May 8 (UPI) -- Jay Gibbons had a three-run double in the bottom of the seventh Saturday as the Baltimore Orioles rallied for a 10-7 win over the Cleveland Indians.

After leading the Orioles with 100 RBI last season, Gibbons has gotten off to a slow start in 2004 and entered Saturday's game batting just .204.

Holding a 7-4 lead in the seventh, the Indians decided to take their chances with the struggling Gibbons, when Manager Eric Wedge elected to intentionally walk Javy Lopez with runners on second and third and two outs.

The move backfired as Gibbons lined a pitch from Scott Stewart (0-2) down the right field line to clear the bases and tie the game. B.J. Surhoff followed with a bloop single down the left field line to give the Orioles the lead.

Gibbons and Lopez added run-scoring singles in the eighth for the Orioles.
