Broadhurst leads British Masters by 1

WARWICKSHIRE, England, May 8 (UPI) -- England's Paul Broadhurst shot a 6-under-par 66 to take a one-shot lead Saturday after three rounds in the British Masters.

Broadhurst was at 11-under-par 205. Barry Lane of England and Eduardo Romero of Argentina were tied for second.

The leader was five shots behind at the start of his round, which included eight birdies on the Forest of Arden course.

The 38-year-old Broadhurst has not had a win on the European Tour in nine years.

Romero, 49, is trying to become the oldest winner ever on the European Tour.
