ARLINGTON, Texas, April 10 (UPI) -- Brad Fullmer had three hits and three RBI against his former team Saturday as the Texas Rangers posted a 12-6 victory over the Anaheim Angels.
Fullmer, who missed the final three months of last season following right knee surgery, had been hitless in his previous seven at-bats after batting .391 during spring training. He got the Rangers going with an RBI double that sparked a four-run first inning against Anaheim starter John Lackey (0-1).
Mark Teixeira followed Fullmer's two-base hit with a three-run homer.
Texas starter Kenny Rogers gave back the early cushion, surrendering six runs in the fourth as Jose Molina had a three-run triple and scored on Adam Kennedy's base hit.
Lackey served up a two-run homer to Michael Young and was chased when Fullmer singled up the middle. Fullmer had a run-scoring single in the eighth as Texas scored three times.
