NBA: Milwaukee 90, Toronto 83

TORONTO, April 4 (UPI) -- Brian Skinner scored six of his 19 points in a third-quarter run as the Milwaukee Bucks clinched a playoff berth with a 90-83 win over the Toronto Raptors.

The Bucks (39-38) took a half-game lead over New Orleans (38-38) for fourth place in the NHL Eastern Conference. They made the postseason for the second year in a row and for the fifth time in the last six seasons.

Milwaukee took the lead for good with a 13-3 run in the third quarter. Joe Smith capped the spurt with a jumper with 54 seconds left to give the Bucks a 64-57 edge.

Skinner also had 14 rebounds and Michael Redd 17 points for Milwaukee, which has won 10 straight over the Raptors.

Jalen Rose scored 21 points and Vince Carter 18 but the Raptors dropped their seventh in a row.
