The green flag waved with just two laps to go following a brief red-flag period following a crash. Busch's Ford Taurus was too strong for Wallace's Dodge Intrepid as the Roush Racing driver won for the ninth time in his Nextel Cup career.

The 25-year-old from Las Vegas defeated Wallace by 0.428-seconds, followed by Kevin Harvick's Chevrolet Monte Carlo, Sterling Marlin's Dodge and Matt Kenseth's Ford.

Jamie McMurray was tapped at the end of the event by Kenseth. McMurray returned the favor after the race was over by spinning Kenseth's Ford on the cool-down lap.
